An initial assessment will take place in which your child’s individual needs will be discussed and in which our assessor will ascertain any specific areas that your child finds a challenge in their chosen subject. A course of action will then be jointly reviewed and decided upon. This usually last for around one and a half hours, after which time is allocated for any questions or concerns that you may have.

Travel expenses for tutors using their own vehicle are based on the AA national travel expenses scheme and currently stand at 85p per mile each way. This means that if you live 10 miles by road from the tutor’s location you will be charged an additional £10 for petrol and motoring expenses per tuition session. This may be subject to increase along with inflation and petrol prices at any time during the year. There is no travel charge for attending the Dorking office or the tutor’s accommodation. Please note that for insurance purposes, pupils are strictly forbidden to travel within the tutor’s car under any circumstances.
